Where We Started

Josspure began during a difficult season of my life after a serious back injury left me bedridden and dealing with extreme skin sensitivity. The products I relied on only made things worse, so I started making soap from scratch with gentle, nourishing ingredients I could trust.

What began as a small personal hobby grew into Josspure—a brand focused on helping people with dry, sensitive skin simplify their routines with truly nourishing skincare.

We also started a YouTube channel to share our soapmaking process, ingredients, and behind-the-scenes creations with our community.

Today, everything we make is still rooted in the same purpose: calming, intentional skincare that feels good on your skin.

Meet Frances — Founder & CEO of Josspure

I make every product with one simple idea—your skin shouldn’t feel worse after you wash it.

Most days you’ll find me formulating, packing orders, or tweaking recipes because I care a little too much about how skin actually feels.

This brand started from my own skin struggles, and it’s grown into something I wish I had when I was going through it.

Outside of Josspure, I love teaching, traveling, meditation, and yoga. Those things keep me grounded and inspire how I show up in both life and business—slow, intentional, and connected to the body in a real way.

Meet Johnny — Co-Founder & Production Manager

I’m the one behind a lot of the making, mixing, and day-to-day production that keeps everything running smoothly. I love being hands-on and making sure every batch is done right and with care.

Outside of Josspure, I am a full-time teacher at an elementary school. During the weekend, I’m usually riding my bike or playing guitar. I’ve always liked working with my hands and staying active—it keeps me grounded and focused in everything I do.

Hi, I’m Yossian

I handle fulfillment and orders at Josspure.

I make sure every package is packed with care and gets to you the right way. I’m usually the one behind the scenes getting your orders ready to go out.

Outside of work, I’m into anime, playing Xbox, and Puerto Rican food (I could eat it every day). I like keeping things fun and balanced, even when I’m working through a busy day of orders.
